First Decide: Yacht-Master or Yacht-Master II?
The standard Yacht-Master is the more conventional sports-watch design, with rotating bezel styling and a wide range of case sizes and metal combinations. The 40mm format is the center of the range, while 35mm and 42mm versions offer noticeably different proportions.
Yacht-Master II is a separate 44mm design with a much busier dial and bezel. A buyer looking for the restrained rhodium- or blue-dial Yacht-Master aesthetic is therefore shopping for something very different from someone considering a Yacht-Master II.
What Changes the Look Most?
Bezel color and material, dial color, case metal and bracelet or strap choice have a stronger visual effect here than small wording differences in product titles. Compare those elements in the product photos first, then check the reference and movement information.
Reference Before Factory Name
When similar versions are offered by different factories or batches, establish that they target the same reference before comparing factory labels. Otherwise, apparent “quality differences” may simply be differences between two distinct Yacht-Master configurations.
